Learn Dog First Aid
I became a Pet First Aid Instructor after my dog Kipper had an accident. You can find out more about that in the blog section. I feel passionate about educating people not only on what to do in an emergency, but also on how to stay calm and how to prevent accidents too.
What you learn in the workshop could save your dogs life.
We cover:
-
What to do for common accidents like falls, choking, drowning, traffic.
-
How to recognise when your dog isn't healthy.
-
What to do for medical emergencies like shock, heat stroke, hypothermia, and bloat.
-
We practice first aid techniques including different types of bandaging, CPR, how to make a stretcher, and calming an injured dog.
-
We share stories, play games and have fun.
Included with the Dog First Aid Workshop is access to online video tutorials for 8 months. Each tutorial is only a few minutes long and can be delivered to your email inbox weekly. This way you can take in all the details of what is needed for up-to-date first aid at a pace that promotes long term learning.
After the workshop you will receive an Endorsed Certificate from TQUK that is valid for 3 years.
Workshops are for humans only. Online workshops cost £60. In person workshops cost £90. Discounts are available for under 18s and for people that help promote the next workshop.
